12 week Tribal Fusion Level 1 and Level 2 Courses.

I am teaching Tribal Fusion courses in association with The Mia Serra School of Dance at Danceworks, Central London.
These are great courses for beginners and intermediate dancers alike. They will teach the style and form of tribal fusion as well as some background and costuming.

They are both 1 hr per week on Thursday evenings, The Level 1 is 7pm – 8pm and Level 2 is 8pm – 9pm. Both courses begin on 7th Jan 2010.

Joy 2010

I am pleased to announce that I will be teaching 2 workshops and dancing in the evening show for this years Joy event. See website for booking and info.

Tribal Fusion Fundamentals
Basic locks, pops and undulations – just what makes tribal fusion different.

Sunday 18th April 2.00 – 4.00pm

Tribal Sun
Upper body moves to create those smooth slinky and serpentine movements.

Liverpool Workshops

Saturday 3rd July  -  10.00am – 12.00pm

 Slinky and Serpentine

 This tribal Fusion workshop will cover a range of upper body moves and drills for posture, arms, shoulders, chest and belly to create a truly sinuous style.

Sunday 4th July  -  3.15pm – 5.15pm

Make up workshop for tribal belly dance.

In this workshop we will first discuss products, application and key looks within tribal belly dance.  Two tribal style make up looks will then be demonstrated,  students will  choose which look they want to try out on themselves and with guidance will achieve the overall look ready for  performance.

Gothla UK 2010

I am very excited that I will be teaching and performing at Gothla my favorite event of the year, join us!

July 17th, Saturday 3.30pm – 5.30pm 

Locks, Pops and Ticks

Locks , Pops and Ticks are defining moves in Tribal and Dark Fusion belly dance.

This is a fun and intense workshop to high energy music where moves will be drilled repeatedly using correct muscle isolation. At the end of this workshop students should have a good grounding of each movement helping you create a creepy / robotic stylisation in your dance to wow your audience.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and intermediate dancers who wish to learn and sharpen up moves and work towards performance. Bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothes. All levels welcome.
