New Tribal Fusion Summer Course starting Tuesday July 20^th

During this course we will work on strengthing techniques to create strong posture and controlled movements. We will then build upon moves, stretching the possibilities of what you can do with them in order to extend your core skills.

This course is suitable for both beginners new to tribal fusion and intermediate dancers wanting to build and develop on their dance skills.

Wow what a busy few months

Is it Summer already?

I’ve had a really busy and great fun few months meeting and dancing with you all. I have been dancing in Krakow, at Milan Gothla Italy, been to Exeter for Sam Emanuels Easter hafla and have just returned from JoYin beautiful Saltaire amongst others and its still only April. It is safe to say I’m broken!

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported me, taken my workshops and given me such lovely compliments on my performances. I have loved every minute of it, ha!

I have just started 2 new 12 week courses with the Mia Serra school and have other workshops coming soon. All details are available on the Workshops page.

I’m pleased to say my Gothla UK Workshop has sold out and I can’t wait to be back at my favorite event of the year.

12 Week Tribal Fusion Courses.

12 week Tribal Fusion Level 1 and Level 2 Courses.

I am teaching Tribal Fusion courses in association with The Mia Serra School of Dance at Danceworks, Central London starting Jan 2010.
These are great courses for beginners and intermediate dancers alike. They will teach the style and form of tribal fusion as well as some background and costuming.

They are both 1 hr per week on Thursday evenings, The Level 1 is 7pm – 8pm and Level 2 is 8pm – 9pm. Both courses begin on 7th Jan 2010.

Fantasia Dec 12th / 13th

Hello all

I am teaching a workshop on the 12th of December and performing in the evening show for the Fantasia event in Chiswick, west London.

The Workshop is 2hr ‘Slinky and serpentine’

The show begins at 6pm and finishes at 10pm on Saturday. You can stay to watch the whole show, or dip in and out to catch your favourite performers.

I should be performing around 7PM on Sat evening.

Well it has been a while since my last post but I have been very busy on a number of projects, teaching and performing. I recently came back from performing at Dark and Tribalicious in

Sweden, beautiful country and great to meet a whole new dark fusion audience. I managed to see most of the show, Ariellah, Ashara and Morgana did not disappoint, they were amazing!

Darkstar Tribal Fusion Workshop Sat 19th Sept. Still Places,

Locks Ticks and Breaks/Strobbing in Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.

Wow your audience and take your dance to another level with locks, ticks and breaks/strobs. This is an intense workshop where movements will be drilled repeatedly through safe and correct muscle location. At the end of this workshop students should have a good grounding of each movement and how they fit within tribal belly dance.
Beginner/intermediate class, not suitable for complete beginners to belly dance as some moves may not be broken down. Please contact me if you are unsure of your level. darkstarkerry@googlemail.com
